Out and about in Frenchs Forest this spring

Spring is a fantastic time to explore Frenchs Forest on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. With its lush green surroundings, vibrant local community and range of activities for adults and children alike, this suburb is blooming with opportunities for outdoor fun, dining and unique experiences.

Here’s a guide to enjoying the best of Frenchs Forest this season.

Nature and wildlife in Frenchs Forest

The Davidson Track in Garigal National Park is a must-visit if you are a nature enthusiast. This scenic trail offers a serene escape into nature that is perfect for a spring walk. The track winds through lush bushland, providing ample opportunities to spot local wildlife and enjoy the fresh, invigorating air.

Highlights:

  • Beautiful forest views
  • Wildlife spotting opportunities
  • Well-maintained paths

This walk is only around two kilometres long but has a ‘hard’ rating, so expect it to take a little over an hour. Start from John Oxley Drive and follow the service trail down to Middle Harbour Creek. Enjoy the view before you head back the way you came.

Of course, this is just one track of many to be discovered in Frenchs Forest. You can also enjoy other bushwalks and mountain bike riding in the local area. Check bushfire and burn-off warnings before you head out for the day.
